I have been back in Australia, officially for 2 weeks, that is half a month. Personally, I am under the belief that someone has pushed the fast-forward button......or maybe it is just the remnants of jet-lag.
Either way.
The last 1/2 month has been pretty hectic, straight back into my finally year of my degree (Bachelor of Fine Arts)- after having missed 3 weeks, a new housemate (who is lovely) and a dusty-ass house.
It was a relief to find out last Friday that I have a whole week off for Easter (thank-you Monash University).
I decided I deserved a break and some sun, so I drove my dog, my brother and my surfboard (baby blue) down to the Mornington Peninsula, south east of Melbourne.
My main intention was to surf but due to lack of surfing buddies and pretty crappy waves, we found a different activity that enlightened my adrenaline-searching brain.

.....a text book double front flip....thanks for the viewing pleasure Watto.
Between swimming in the sea, eating delicious food, sleeping, devouring two books and hanging out with my mum and my step-dad, the whole weekend was an amazing success. I am relaxed, well read and hankering for some more swimming. Thank-you Australia.
