Lyon! A halfway town between Les Arcs and Chamonix. With no plans and a whole city to myself I did as much prowling as I could.
I also spoke some french.
I also sat by myself in restaurants at lunch time and drank red wine and ate chocolate cake and then took silly photos in the wizard bathroom.
I also then rode home on a rented bike.
I stayed with Madame Laura Petitot at her fabulous appartment in Villeurbanne.

Located just on the peripherie of Lyon she had lots of flights of stairs and all the appartment doors looked the same. It was like being in a labyrinth.
As in Paris I got lost a lot
Luckily I had to serious frenchies to accompany me on the train between Les Arcs and Lyon. I think otherwise I would have never made it!
