a day at the track: wheeling bikes at the velodrome

during autumn i was invited to a picnic in a velodrome. it was a celebration of food, wine and most importantly bikes.

there were fixies, mountain bikes, road bikes, hybrids and single geared bikes. there was also some vintage added to the equation by some kids we meet lapping the drome. the little bikes name was gloria and she was a dream-boat.

piers, with at least 3 cameras in tow, documented the bike-feast. check out is page at Flickr.
