Kate Rohde and Romance was born: Renaissance Dinosaur

You're going to hear it again: damn uni work is taking up all my time.

At least my current assignment is anything but monotone.

I am in the process of writing a critical review on Kate Rohde's latest exhibition. The work is based on her latest collaboration with Australian fashion label Romance was Born.

She works with resin, making the most amazingly quirky sculptures that have never ceased to mesmerise me. Add two more partners in crime + a heap of fake fur and sequins and you have the new show: Renaissance Dinosaur.

Glitter, fluro and dinosaurs are always a great topic for discussion from the ages of 2-100 years old, so I have a feeling that this little number is going to be fun to write.

If you live in Melbournia and you need some brightening of your day head to Karen Woodbury Gallery on Albert Street Richmond (wed-sat) 11am onwards.
