Skiing in your Birthday Suit: Snowbird Closing Day

Lexie taking care of the bubbles
Closing Day at Snowbird was everything a spring day could be, warm, sunny and not a cloud in the sky. On top of that we had champagne and straws to drink it with- what could be more classy than that!

The day started with a nice hike up to Baldy Bowl with Lexi, Mike and Jamie. It's about a 1 hr boot pack to the top and by the time I got up there it was short-skiing time.

Chute Ski!
The corn was in prime condition and after some rock negotiation, we skied one of the far skier's right chutes.

After the hike, we took some laps down the tram, polished off the champagne and finally I jumped on one of the last trams with Mckenna and Dylan. After some consideration, we decided that skiing something fun would be much more appetizing than pond skimming. We joined up with John, Jesse and with a little hiking crew in tow we hiked up Baldy and skied main chute down to Alta.

Somewhere between Snowbird and the top of Baldy, Mckenna decided that it would be a great idea to ski naked down main chute. Why not, it was a great time for firsts. First Closing day at Snowbird, first time skiing Main Chute and first nudie run. Woop- making progress.

There is a time and a place for everything and yesterday skiing naked seemed like a great idea!...It stills seems like one.
