The Runaways

First weekend back in Melbourne since sometime around June......Anna, Phoebe (our dog) and I are taking over our kitchen and getting into the books: or at least trying to, I have found every reason not to, including weeding the garden? Anna is the more studious sister.

In my travels (pacing about the house), I downloaded 'the runaways' from itunes to watch- flippin cool movie. Disco rock and glam chic. It is based on the novel 'NEON ANGEL' by Cherie Currie- I totally recommend it as a not so pink chick flick. I am not usually a fan of Kirsten Stewart who plays Joan Jett (well at least not in Twilight) but i am a fan of her in this movie and Dakota Fanning- wow she grew up.

I went on a bit of a cruise around youtube and found some old footage of the original ladies: check it out- if i were to live in any age but now the 70s would be pretty sweet. Cherie Currie the lead singer is a diva!
