Crested Butte FWT Qualfiers

looking up at Headwall

First day of the 20th US Extreme Championships kicked off today with a little fresh snow, a smidgen of sun and a fair bit of flat light. Nonetheless, everyone threw down and put a kick-ass show.

I ran 16th in the girls division. I put down a solid run, with one or two slips ups, qualifying 8th, making the cut for the semi-finals. Looking at the results I realised how important a clean, fluid and direct line was for scoring high----some things I passed off for air....but best we learn from our mistakes.!

.......head cam footage coming soon!

Melissa and Ron: bewitched spectators.Jesse and Mason checkin' out the talent: Jesse qualified 5th-- yeah girl!

Hailey and Hilary: Two little locals who threw down...

this event would be nothing without the support of the Crested Butte Pups
