It's been a long search, I would say it was about 4 year ago that I finally found a boot that didn't make my toenails fall off; 3 years ago I invested in Booster straps that aided the shin bang and finally this year I found a boot that actually holds my foot together. Then last week with the help of Inkline, I found a size that fit. It's been emotional. I am considering holding a boot party.
All I can say is, thanks Dalbello for making the Krypton ID, thanks Dalbello for supporting me and thanks Inkline for making it work :D.
In other news, I have been prowling around SLC buying a car, getting inspired by 50s skier babes in bikinis and rock skiing with Pip Hunt up Little Cottonwood Canyon.
It's bleak out there, there ain't much snow and the only thing we found to ski looked like something I could bake with. But I really can't help myself, guess I know I'm still addicted to winter- no matter how devastating the first month is. As Pip said, it's just like skiing at Crested Butte, that made me feel better and on the way down I totally got 2 turns of rotten freshies.
Snows possibly on the way next week and so are my new skis! Party!
