overlooking 5 mile
We headed up to Whitewater, grabbed a coffee and 1 ride up the lift. From there we toured out of the resort and into the close range backcountry that had enough freshies and face shots for everyone to share.

getting ready to drop in for first run
Watkin and I did some exploring around the bowl between 5 mile and Acidophilus. The terrain is amazing, extensive and so easy to access, all I can say is sweeet. We got a few laps in and made it down in time for beer.
whitewater has some fun terrain going on
Like any other day, we headed out with caution, excitement and with dreams of multiple blessings to the face. So did many other snow lovers but unfortunately today some didn't make it back. It is a huge loss to the snow family, my thoughts are with friends and families of Jim Jack, Chris and John.
No one could make you feel as welcome and inspired as Jim Jack, it's not often you meet such a caring person who is willing to put there heart and soul into the things they love. :) Thanks for sharing it with the rest of us.
