Salt Lake City: Things to do and see.

Tea Grotto

This is not the most extensive list of 'things to do' but my faith in Salt Lake City has been revived after an awesome adventure day around SugarHouse with the one and only miss em uh lee, our current house-guest who has introduced me to all kinds of things kick-ass.

#1 HULU. (my life saver)
This is not exclusive to SLC but it is an amazing invention- online movies with free download. If you don't know already, I am the biggest sucker for films and this resource has made my afternoons and evenings.

#2 KOI piercing studios
1301 South 900 East
The best piercing studio that I have visited- it has the most amazing choice of beautifully crafted jewelery and a really easy-going, yet professional studio. It was the most painless piercing I have ever had in my life and all the staff have some really sick perforations.

#3 Tea Grotto
2030 South 900 East
A cute little tea shop with a HUGE blackboard full of tea- I ordered Matcha green tea, a form of powdered green tea that created from whole ground tea leaves and is used in Japanese Tea Ceremonies. It supposedly has a much higher amount of antioxidants than normal green tea as you consume the whole leaf.

Em whisking the powder with the hot water. Our tea ceremony wasn't the most graceful but it was delicious!

#4 Pib's Clothing Exchange.
One big fun opp shop that is full everything- vintage, bad taste, new old styles and some incredible shiny leather pant suits. I could spend hours and many dollars there, wading through and trying on the racks of clothes. It took us at least 4 attempts to leave.
